The Basic Construction Management Professional (BCMP) is the entry-level NACP construction management credential and the foundation for the advanced ACMP credential. It is designed for construction professionals starting on a formal credentialing path, including new construction managers and seasoned veterans alike who want to differentiate themselves in a competitive industry.
The format is self-paced online: six months of access to training materials covering the full NACP Construction Management Professional standard, then a 4-hour, 200-question proctored exam with a 70% passing threshold. Petersen Training provides personalized support across the entire credentialing process, from registration through exam scheduling to credentialing. Successful candidates receive the NACP BCMP credential plus a Petersen Training or university partner certificate of completion.
